Dear reader,

Chapters 3 and 4 are now open.

They belong to the same emotional movement. They mark a turn in the story: the moment when Vika can no longer remain only an observer of the systems around her.

Something changes when a person begins to understand the rules of a room. At first, awareness feels like protection. You can name what is happening. You can watch the signals. You can see how power moves before anyone admits it is moving.

But understanding eventually asks for something more difficult than perception.

It asks for a choice.

These chapters move through deeper power dynamics, more difficult loyalties, and the first consequences of what has already been set in motion. Vika approaches the invisible line between noticing the room and participating in it.

Separating these chapters would interrupt that turn. Read together, they allow the emotional pressure to gather in the right shape.

The Field Notes remain open alongside them. They trace some of the questions beneath the story: adaptation, reinvention, belonging, value, status, and the cost of becoming legible to rooms that were not built for you.
